Amazing, great service, great hospitality, no English menu

I think this was our favourite meal in Japan. The food was delicious and the staff were all really happy and friendly. Everyone looked like they were having fun - especially the chefs and waiters. There was no English menu but the head chef can speak it quite well and gave great recommendations.Highly recommend the half chicken and the salad with the crunchy noodles!

Amazing, great service, great hospitality, no English menu but the kitchen guided us through the menu and answered questions to help us choose items beyond the initial recommendations. When we left they also gifted us tiny heat packs (as it was snowing heavily!). Would come again in a heartbeat — thanks Marudori Ruisike!

Bikass, a Nepali worker at this restaurant helped us so much. When we got to the door, we were intimidated by the menu outside, which was all in Japanese. As we stood contemplating whether we should go elsewhere, the door slid open and Bikass invited us in. We sat down and he told us not to worry, that he would help us order. We had one of the best Izakaya meals of our entire time in Japan. My only regret is that I didn't order more items. Everyone in the small kitchen looked amazingly passionate and full of life. One man talked on a phone wedged between his shoulder and his ear, presumably to a customer, while a giant fireball rose in front of his face from the grill he was working on (Which was authentically fueled by Binchotan charcoal). Thank you all! Next time I'm in town, I'll be back to your restaurant!!(Ps. Try the crispy soba salad.)
